In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an unique katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
